At Gastonia Freedom School, students to learn at their own pace, discover their passions, and build toward life as independent adults. At our Agile Learning Center, students tackle everything from academics to social/emotional skills through direct instruction, group activities, and independent work.
We specialize in serving children with disabilities such as autism, ADHD, and developmental delays. Our self-directed model empowers students to recognize their strengths instead of focusing on their limitations. We support parents in finding providers of special education services to work with students during the day.
Tuition is income-based to serve as many families as possible. As of Spring 2020, we are able to accept the Disabilities Grant and Education Savings Account.
Gastonia Freedom School is located at 208 N Pryor Street
