ESA+ Voucher

Gastonia Freedom School empowers students to learn at their own pace, discover their passions, and build toward life as adults. Our Agile Learning Center gives children with disabilities such as autism or ADHD the freedom to be themselves while learning real world skills.

You can use the Education Student Account from the NC state voucher program to cover the entire cost of tuition at Gastonia Freedom School. The Education Student Accounts Program provides up to $17,000 to students eligible for special education to pay for educational services, curricula, therapy, and educational technology.

Gastonia Freedom School is a homeschool resource center and not a private school, so your student age 7 and older must be enrolled in a homeschool in order to attend. The process for opening a homeschool is easy and can be done at any point during the school year.

If you’ve missed the deadline, we hope you still consider Gastonia Freedom School! Our tuition is a sliding scale based on income, which makes it much more affordable than area private schools. We are unable to accept the Opportunity Scholarship, daycare vouchers, or direct Medicaid funding.
